• Balla Youth Centre, by The Mayo Person of the Year Award, won in 2005
• Clogher bog walk, by Bord Failte, recognized in 2005
• Mayo Abbey Pride of Place for Villages under 500, by Cooperation Ireland, won in 2006
• Islandeady Pride of Place for Integration, by Cooperation Ireland, won in 2007
• Balla, Pride of Place, nominated, 2009
• Cr. Patrick Heritage Trail, nominated in Heritage category, 2009

In America, the TVRCN has also been recognized with these awards:

• Maureen Lally, Distinguished Partner in Study Abroad Programs Award, bestowed by MSU’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 2007
• Diane Doberneck, First Annual Academic Service Learning and Civic Engagement Award, bestowed by MSU’s Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement in 2008
