Tourism Agreement of Collaboration between TVRCN and Slovenia

 A delegation from Tochar Valley Rural Community Network attended a Walking Festival in Slovenia on 17 October 2009.  Ksenje Kragl, Slovenian national, who is currently working with TVRCN, arranged the visit to Eastern Slovenia to forge connections between the two Tourism groups.

A formal meeting was held with local government and tourism officials where an agreement of collaboration was signed by Sr. Maureen Lally, Manager, TVRCN, and Anica Kranjcic, Chairperson of the Sromjle Tourism Group.

The aim of the partnership is to:

1. Identify areas of interest

2. To familiarise each other with up to date work, programmes and projects of both organisations

3. To establish working relationship with a view of sharing and exchanging knowledge, experience and ideas

4. To help promote and market international tourism exchange
